Yes yes, I know… more bike polo, It tends to be the only work I’ve done lately that is worth showing off. My friend Alex is hosting a Polo invite in north Hollywood next month and asked if I could help out with a flyer and t-shirt design, and this is what I came up with. I had started playing around with the NWA bole polo idea for the LA Bike Polo website deisgn, but ended up changing up the website and using the gangsta’ concept for the flyer instead. The idea of the event was to throw it when most of the other bike polo leauges are getting hit with nasty winter weather. We wanted to make it very “West Coast” and hopefully get a lot of out-of-towners to show up for some fun in the sun, so using NWA seemed perfect, espesually with the east coast getting most of the bike polo spotlight. I adapted the illustration to a t-shirt, and then quickly developed a wordpress theme and implemented a wordpress site for LABikePolo.org. I used a Graphpaperpress theme and added design elements from the April flier and I I also stole Justins Flickr badge from Redbullroundup.
